Clay Road Animal Clinic welcomes you to our website!

We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Dr. Darrell G. Smith and his healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine with compassion and an emphasis on client education.

Clay Road Animal Clinic is a basic service canine and feline animal clinic. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and basic medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

Since we are a small, one veterinarian clinic, we ask that you call ahead and make an appointment with us at (281) 550-2552. If you call and get our recording, it means that we are already on the other line or we are very busy and unable to pick up the phone. Please leave a detailed message and we will call you back.

Appointment Only. No Walk-ins Please.

At Clay Road Animal Clinic we strive to offer your pet’s the best and safest medications at the most affordable prices possible. Unfortunately, this means that we cannot keep certain products in house and still be able to pass along reasonable prices to you.  As the cost of many things we use on a daily basis continue to go up in price, so too do many veterinary related products. In order to combat these raising prices, we have turned to Vetsource (a home delivery service of veterinary goods and medication), and a customized parasite prevention program that can formulate your pet’s monthly parasite control to his or her exact weight.

We are excited to be able to offer these two programs, and we work diligently to monitor price increases of your pet’s products to ensure that not only are their medications safe and appropriate, but at the lowest possible cost to you. Our pets battle plenty in the line of both internal and external parasites; it’s our job to make sure that we’re doing everything we can so they don’t suffer because certain products are too expensive.
Come by and visit or give us a call at 281-550-2552 and ask us how we can help you keep your pet parasite free.
